The Nutcracker

I watched "The Nutcracker" last night at the New York State Opera. It's a ballet -- my first and hopefully not the last. I finally saw for myself what a ballet is like. The music was very familiar cos it's Tchaikovsky after all. And the sets were pretty spectacular. Sugar Plum Fairy was truly awesome -- how many pirouettes did she manage at one go?
